| In 2023, Bas worked on HEROES, an exergame focused on fall prevention during rehabilitation after a TIA. The key challenge was to connect motion capture technology with a motivating game experience that aligned with the support needs of this target group. Correctly operationalizing therapeutic and research objectives within the game experience was crucial. The target group evaluated the game positively, particularly its use in the home environment and the motivation it provided to sustain therapy over time.
