How can healthcare professionals recognise limited health literacy?
From research to real-world impact in healthcare
The University of Twente, Isala Clinics and Windesheim explored how healthcare professionals can recognise limited health literacy and provide more accessible information to patients. 8D supported the consortium in translating this knowledge into practice, using design and co-creation sessions where design served as a strategic thinking tool.
Together, we developed a card set for both research and practical application, supported by a flexible system that enables researchers to adapt and further develop the intervention.
